Here's how it works: after you buy or lease a new Volkswagen, you get your first courtesy maintenance check at 6,000 miles or after three months, whichever comes first. Your first scheduled maintenance check is free at 10,000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. At this appointment, your VW will get its first oil change and brake pad check. At 20,000 miles or 24 months, your vehicle will get a full inspection, oil change and oil filter replacement. Once you've reached the 30,000 mile or three-year milestone with your car, you'll get yet another complimentary vehicle check, brake pad check, and oil change.
